INTERIOR REDESIGN CASE STUDY
In this US Bureau of Land Management case study, our interior redesign project involved producing a variety of materials. We helped to transform the space with wall murals, signage, window graphics, office and site placards, and poster art throughout the facility.
PRI Graphics & Signs is a commercial printer based in Phoenix, Arizona. We provide high-quality printing services to clients across various industries. Together, we collaborated on an interior redesign project for the US Bureau of Land Management’s National Training Center located here in Phoenix, AZ.

Effective and Inspirational Graphics
PRI Graphics & Signs worked closely with Bubo Learning Design on the project management of all printing, setup, and installations. We created various pieces of artwork to install throughout the training center. Rosie Avakian, the project lead for PRI Graphics, collaborated closely with Bubo Learning Design to ensure that each printed piece of the project was created and installed at the highest quality.

Interior Redesign Project Specifications
The US Bureau of Land Management project utilized a wide variety of materials and products to achieve the desired look and feel. One of the standout products utilized was the multilayered 1/4″ clear acrylic for the directors’ offices. The first layer featured 1st and 2nd surface printing with white ink underlay, and the second layer featured 1st surface raised ink printing.

The wayfinding ADA signs, made using 1/8″ white acrylic with raised ink, provided clear and visible direction throughout the training center, making it easy for visitors to navigate the area.

Materials with a Purpose
The classroom and hallway wall wraps (which utilized 3M IJ-180 with matte cast laminate) and the hallway art (made with ACM with 1/2″ French Cleats) also provided an immersive and inspiring environment for its staff and visitors. These materials were instrumental in transforming the National Training Center. It is now a unique space that not only looks great but also serves its purpose effectively by teaching and informing.

From Redesign Concept to Completion
The timeline for this project started back in Q4 of 2021 with initial planning, facility walk-throughs, and art proofing. The final pieces were just recently finished and installed in Q1 of 2023 after spanning just under a year and a half of hard and dedicated work from all parties. It all came out to be a great success and helped to apply the final touches the training center needed to provide a welcoming and inspiring environment for its visitors and staff members alike.
